Eligibility
Criteria:
Candidates must
be either a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan
etc.
Candidates must
be a either Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January,
1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian
origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka or East African
countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi,
Zaire and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in
India.
Candidates must
have completed Graduation/Diploma in engineering from such
University/College/Institution recognized by the Government of India from time
to time with good academic records.
Limitation
of Age:
A candidate for this examination must have
attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on
the 1st January, 2016. Relaxation in age will be given as per Government Rules.
Application
Fee:
Candidates are required to pay application
fee of Rs.200/- in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility
of State Bank of India/State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of
Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore
or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card.
No application fee for Female/SC/ST/ PH
Category Candidates.
Mode
of Selection:
Selection of
candidates will be done on basis of their performance in Engineering
Services Examination/ Interview/Personality Test. Originals will have
to be produced at the time of interview.
