The
honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a scheme as Beti
Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana
2016.The main of this scheme is to generate awareness
and improving the efficiency of welfare services meant for women. The
scheme will have focussed intervention and multi-section action in almost 100
districts with low Child Sex Ratio (CSR).
According to
this scheme the village that succeeds in attaining a balanced sex ratio will be
awarded Rs 1 crore’’this strong incentive will reduce the declining CSRensuring
that the girl child gets equal opportunities to shine.

Financial
Support for Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojana 2016:
The financial figures to assist the issue
include Rs. 50 crore for testing a scheme for safety of women on Public Road
Transport by The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. Additionally, Rs.150
crore will be spent by Ministry of Home Affairs to increase the safety of women
in large cities.

CSR/SRB in public discourse, improvement of which would be a indicator for good
governance.
·
Focus on Gender Critical
Districts and Cities low on CSR for intensive & integrated action.
·
Mobilize & Train Panchayati
Raj Institutions/Urban local bodies/ Grassroot workers as catalysts for social
change, in partnership with local community/women’s/youth groups.
·
Ensure service delivery
structures/schemes & programmes are sufficiently responsive to issues of
gender and children’s rights.
·
Enable Inter-sectoral and
inter-institutional convergence at District/Block/Grassroot levels.
