CCRT Scholarship 2016:

Centre for Cultural Resources and Training invites applications for CCRT Scholarship 2016 from students who wish to assess their strengths, Weaknesses and nourish

their minds for a bright and enterprising future. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply against this notification by submitting Registration form online or offline on or before the closing date.

Cultural Talent Search Scholarship is given to search talented students and distribute the scholarships to the students who have the talent in music, dance, drama, painting, sculpture and crafts. It also aims to honor and encourage the selected students by awarding scholarships and prizes.

CCRT is a diagnostic test that measures how well a student has understood the culture and how Many talented they are and gives detailed feedback on same, to help them improve. Rewards: 

·         Total 620 scholarships will be awarded at national level.

·         Out of 620, 100 scholarships are reserved for Tribal Culture

·         30 for children in the field of Creative Writing/ Literary Arts.

·         20 scholarships are reserved for Differently abled

Eligibility Criteria:

·         Students from  recognized government schools are eligible to apply.

·         Students Belong to families practicing traditional, performing and other arts are selected for the scholarships are also elligible.

·         Students must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience (either with a Guru or in a institution) and certain level of proficiency in the relevant art form.

Age Limit:

Candidates’ age must be in between 10 to 14 years i.e. (in middle 01.07.2001 and 30.06.2005 (both days inclusive).

Selection process:  

Shortlist students, will be called for  an Interview/ Test will be performed by CCRT. Selected candidates will get scholarship.

Amount of Scholarship:

·         Value of scholarship will be 3600/- per year for those children who carry on their particular training at the station where they are pursuing their education.

·         Student is required to transfer to a new station permanently for purpose of specialized training and pursue education also at that station, only then the worth of scholarship may be increased to Rs. 400/-

·         Actual fee paid for the specialized training to the Institution shall be refund the scholarship holder in addition to the value of scholarship indicated,  Rs.9000/-
