IJSO 2016:

IJSO is a major international intellectual competition held annually. The International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) is open to students of all countries in the world, who lie under the age of 16 years as on 31^st December of the same Year.

This exam is a competitive examination to encourage the Bright Students. This exam contains a roughly equal representation of subjects of Science like Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.

This competition is mainly known for its difficulty as it requires a broad knowledge range in all three sciences.  In order to appear for IJSO, students need to get registration. Questions and problems in International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) are usually non-conventional and of high difficulty level, comparable to International Olympiads. Top students from each country are selected to the competition and each get a chance to compete with their counterparts from across the globe.

Eligibility Criteria:

·        All Indian students who are born on or after January 1, 2001 and, in addition, are in Class X or lower as of November 30, 2015, are eligible to appear in NSEJS 2015 - 2016.

·         If they qualify in the NSEJS, they will be eligible for subsequent stages leading to participation in International Junior Science Olympiad 2016.

·         It is the student's responsibility to ensure that the eligibility criteria are satisfied. In case at any stage of the program it is found that the student does not satisfy the eligibility criteria, he/she may be disqualified from the program.

Stages of The Junior Science Olympiad program :

Stage 1: National Standard Examination in Junior Science (NSEJS)

Stage 2: Indian National Junior Science Olympiad (INJSO)

Stage 3: Orientation cum Selection Camp (OCSC) in junior science

Stage 4: Pre-departure Training Camp (PDT) for IJSO

Stage 5: Participation in International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO)

 Registration Fee:

·         A National Team: USD 1000 for 1 Team

·         Others: USD 2000 for 1 Person
