Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr. Narendra
Modi has launched a portal named as National
Career Service which is India’s biggest and most comprehensive job portal.
Aim of this portal is to connect all existing employment centres, and create
one special and biggest employment exchange board.
Presently, 44.7 million job seekers are
registered with India’s 956 employment exchanges. According to official data
there are at least 26.88 million men and less than 29 years aged woman.
They have total 982 employment exchanges install
over the India and the government has planned to modernise and transform 100 of
these, in first phase, for which a sum of Rs 190 crore has been allocated.
Counselling centres are also available of
this employment exchange. So apart from searching and applying for jobs on the
portal, candidates can also avail career-related counselling by either visiting
these centres or through helpline numbers.
NCS provide different services like registrations
of job seekers and employers, job posting, career counselling, aptitude
assessment, job matching, information on availability of courses at educational
institutions, training providers, guidance on self-employment and
entrepreneurship etc.

Process
to register your name on this portal:
·
Go to official site of National Career
Services (NCS) portal that is “www.ncs.gov.in”.
·
Select option as per
choice of “job Seeker” or “employer”
·
Then Click on Signup
button for new registration.
·
Fill the form with correct
details as required.
·
Click on the submit button
·
Then you will receive OTP
(One Time password) on registered mobile no.
·
Enter the OTP you have
received and Re login with this OTP.
·
Once you have enter in
site you can make changes in your profile and your details
·
And start searching job
and apply for them and attend the walk in and interviews to grab opportunities.
