National Defense Academy
Naval Academy [10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme)
Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate who is applying for National
Defence Academy exam:
Must be either a citizen of India OR
A Subjects Bhutan / Nepal / Tibetan Refugee
OR
A person of Indian origin who has migrated
from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and east African Countries of Kenya, Uganda AND
Only unmarried male aspirants are eligible
to apply and contenders must ensure that they cannot marry before final
training completion.
Educational Qualification:
For Army Wing of National Defence
Academy: Job hunters applying for NDA 2016 must be passed in 12th Class of the
10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State
Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National
Defence Academy: Applicants must have completed 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of
School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a
State Education Board or a University.
Age Limitation:
Contenders should not be born earlier than
02 July 1997 and not later than 01 July 2000.
Physical Standards:
Job hunters must be physically and
medically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence
Academy and Naval Academy Examination.
Application Fee:
Aspirants who are going to apply for NDA /
NA Examination are required to Pay Rs.100/- as an application fee by means of
Cash in any Branch of SBI or by using net banking facility or by using Visa/
Master Credit/ Debit Card.
No Fee is required for SC/ ST candidates
and sons of JCOs/ NCOs/ ORs.
Selection Process
Selection of contenders under National
Defence Academy will be based on performance in written exam, Psychological
Aptitude Test, Intelligence Test and SSB Interview.
How to fill Application form:
Firstly Visit official website of Union
Public Service Commission, which is www.upsconline.nic.in
Choose suitable post and must fill Part I
Online Application form by selecting appropriate link.
Fill all essential details correctly and
submit it after completion.
Then Make fee payment and revisit the
website.
Select Part II Registration and Log in
yourself by entering registration number and password.
Fill all asked details in Part II of
Application.
Upload scanned photograph and signature and
finally submit it successfully.
Take printout of filled form for future
reference.
