Required Education: 

Candidates must have passed in Higher Secondary School or its equivalent with 50 % marks in aggregate.

Diploma in Teacher Education or Certificate in Basic Teacher’s Training of duration of not less than 2 years offered by an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education is also required.

Applicants should have studied particular Regional language (Tamil) as one of the subjects up to Secondary level.

Age Criteria: 

Candidates should be between 18 to 32 years as on 17.06.2015. Age relaxation will be given to the SC/ST candidates.

Pay scale Granted:

Selected candidates will be offered a pay band of Rs. 9,300 – 34,800 + Grade pay Rs. 4200.

Selection Process:

Selection process will be based on merit list.
