IB ACIO Syllabus 2015
Intelligence Bureau (Ministry of Home Affairs) is going to
conduct a written examination for the selection for the
eligible aspirants for
the posts of ACIO (Assistant Central Intelligence Officer) - Grade II/Executive.
Such aspirants who have been applied for it now will be searching for the IB
ACIO 2015 Syllabus and exam pattern. For the help of such aspirants we are
providing here the complete syllabus and exam pattern.
Exam pattern for IB-
ACIO Grade II:
Paper I (Objective
Type Questions):
Comprehension, General Awareness/General Knowledge,
Reasoning, Mathematical Ability
Paper II (Descriptive
Type Questions):
English Writing Skill and Analytical Capability
Time duration:
There will be 100 minutes will be given to solve the
question paper.
IB ACIO Detailed
Syllabus for Math, English and All Subjects.
The question paper will contain the following section.
1. Comprehension: In
this section, candidates’ basic understanding over the English language will be
judged.
2. General
Awareness/General Knowledge: Current Affairs, Science, Business,
Research, Politics, Banking, Economy Etc. sections will be covered in this
section.
3. Reasoning: Similarities
and Differences, Space Visualization, Discriminating Observation, Problem
Solving, Analysis, Judgment, Relationship Concepts, Decision Making, Visual
Memory, Arithmetical Number Series, Non-Verbal Series, Figure Classification,
Etc
4. Mathematical
Ability: Decimals and Fractions and Relationship between Numbers,
Number Systems, Fundamental Arithmetical Operations, Computation of Whole
Numbers, Percentages, Averages, Ratio and Proportion, Simple & Compound
Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Ratio and Time, Mensuration, Time and
Distance, Use of Tables and Graphs, , Time and Work, Etc.
The study material
for this examination:
We are suggesting here the some study material for this such
as KIRAN PRAKASHAN, ARIHANT PUBLICATION etc.
For the Mathematical Ability section, in that case they
should refer NCERT books till class 10th or RS Agrawal (reference book).
