Name of Organization: Life Insurance Corporation

Name of the Scheme: LIC Scholarship 2016 – 2017

Scholarship Rate: Rs10, 000/- only per annum, Rs.1000/- per month

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should have passed Class 12th / equivalent form any board.

Interested Candidates to pursue higher education in the field: 

(1)Medicine, Engineering, Graduation, in any discipline, Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses

(2)Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges/Institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI).

LIC Scholarship Scheme:

(1)Candidates should have passed Class 12th or equivalent with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1,00,000/ per annum.

(2) The basic educational qualification is relaxed to Class 10th or equivalent with at minimum 60% marks subject to income ceiling of parents/guardians.

(3)Candidates should have the lowest family income and should be given preference in the ascending order.

Scholarship Rate:

The scholarship should be provided for these courses. Scholarship amount is Rs10, 000/-only per annum, Rs.1000/-only payable monthly for ten months by cheques to the beneficiary
