National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai has depicted the notification as the NEST application form 2016.

Organization will be conducting the NEST (National Entrance Screening Test) 2016 for those students who wanted to get admission to various research programmes offered by the above universities. Candidates who are willing to apply they must apply for application form till the last date which is given below.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be passed 12th examination from any government recognized university.

Candidates must have scored at least 60% marks in 12th examination (55% in case of SC/STPD).

Candidates appearing the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for NEST 2016 Entrance Exam.

  

Age Limitation:

Candidates in General and OBC category should be born on or after July 15, 1996.

Age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ ST/ Physically Disabled (PD) candidates.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their marks obtained in NEST test.

Procedure to applying for application form:

For Online Mode:

Candidates are first required to visit the NEST’s website which is www.nestexam.in

Then press the "Apply Online" button and read all the instruction carefully and provide valid details required in the application form

Now proceed for the next page where you need to upload the scanned passport size photograph and sign.

 All documents should be JPEG files.

Choose the payment mode of application fee and do the payment

Verify all the information in the application form before submission

Take the print out of NEST application form 2016 for further use.

For Offline Mode:

Off-line application is to be filled on a prescribed form, which can be obtained from the NEST office on payment (through DD only) of the requisite application fee. 

The request for the application form along with the demand draft (DD) must reach the NEST office (address given in next page) on or before the closure date.
