Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has been revealed examination dates for Indian Forest Service Preliminary

(IFS-2015) and Indian Forest Service main (IFS-2015) exams which are going to conduct in August 2015 and November 2015.

Indian Forest Service exam is conducted every year for the selection of eligible applicant in Indian Forest Service. Eligible aspirants must get the complete details regarding this notification if they are preparing for these examinations.

Eligibility Criteria for IFS (Preliminary) 2015:

Applicants must possess bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely, animal husbandry & veterinary science, botany, chemistry, geology, mathematics, physics, statistics and zoology or a bachelor’s degree in agriculture or forestry or engineering of a recognized university or equivalent.

Applicants of final year of their degree examination are also eligible to appear.

Eligibility Criteria for IFS (Main) 2015:

Such aspirants who will get selected in IFS (Preliminary) 2015 will be eligible to apply in IFS (Main) 2015. The main examination of IFS will be conduct on 21st Nov 2015.

Paper Pattern for IFS (Preliminary) 2015:

There will be 6 sections in all having 1400 marks.
Paper I: - General English: 300 Marks
Paper II: - General Knowledge: 300 Marks
Paper III, IV, V & VI: - Each subject will have two papers 200 Marks for each paper.

Application forms can be submitted online only.

Aspirants have to log on to the official website to apply.

Then they have to click on the proper link to apply online.

Fill the asked details in exact manner.

Upload the required document the click on the submit button.

Important Dates:

Last date of application submission is Friday, 12th June 2015.

The preliminary examination will held on Sunday, 23rd Aug 2015.

The main exam will held on the date of 21st Nov 2015.
